EastEnders hunk in passionate clinch with ex-wife – months after traumatic split
Their relationship has been hanging by a thread for several months
UPCOMING EastEnders scenes see a hunk in a passionate clinch with his ex-wife – merely months following their dramatic split.
Couples in the BBC soap are no strangers to experiencing fiery break-ups.
Estranged spouses Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) are seemingly set to reignite their romance.
The long-term Albert Square residents married in 2021, having begun dating in 2019.
However, their relationship was left hanging by a thread after Denise discovered Jack’s affair with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) late last year.
In upcoming scenes, a heart-to-heart with Yolande (Angela Wynter) about the importance of honesty and truth sets Denise into action.
Feeling guilty, she starts to open up about her lies over the club crush, caused by her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).
Hearing Yolande’s words about the corrosive nature of lies, she prepares to tell Jack the truth about Chelsea causing the club crush.
Will she commit to coming clean after seeing Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) -Jack’s daughter’s – injuries?
Later, Jack tells Denise how grateful he is for everything she’s done for their family.
He gives a moving speech to his ex-wife about how amazing she is.
Considering their moment of passion – could this be the start of getting their married life back on track?
In earlier scenes, Denise hears about Jack and his elder daughter Penny’s (Kitty Castledine) contentious relationship.
Making it her mission to fix the situation, she invites both to Denzel’s (Jaden Ladenga) 16th birthday party.
Meanwhile, Jack has been feeling overwhelmed with the demands of caring for Amy since the crush – and running the house singlehandedly.
He reluctantly agrees for Penny to visit No.27 to support her younger half-sister.
Despite his initial reservations, Jack is pleased to see Amy in much better spirits during Penny’s visit.
However, a tactless comment by Jack soon sours the mood and upsets Penny, sparking a massive row between them.
How will things play out for the extended Branning-Fox family?
