Emmerdale spoilers recall that actress Roxy Shahidi gave a spectacular performance as Leyla in the scenes where Callum took her hostage and kept her tied up in a remote cabin. However, in recent months, we haven’t really seen Leyla around that much. Even when we did see her, it was when she was supporting Jacob tackle his relationship drama, or she was busy digging into Ella Forster’s past.
However, even those fleeting appearances have suddenly stopped. The last time we saw Roxy Shahidi as Leyla Harding was back in July 2024. It has been nearly three months since her last appearance, so what gives? Where is Leyla on Emmerdale? Due to her prolonged absence, many fans have started to wonder if she has left the soap.
Thankfully, according to Metro, a source close to the production has assured the publication that Roxy has not left the soap, and her character Leyla is still very much a part of the canvas. However, the source refrained from divulging any details about when we would get to see the character again on the soap.
