ITV Emmerdale’s Tom King to make chilling return as kidnap plot ‘leaked’
Emmerdale's Belle Dingle is left in terrible danger when her estranged husband Tom King makes a shocking return to the village as the Dingles prepare to celebrate Christmas
Emmerdale’s Tom King, played by James Chase, is set to make a return to the village and his estranged wife Belle Dingle could be in danger. The villainous character has been keeping a low profile after Belle, portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper, revealed the abuse she had been enduring from her husband to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was furious when he found out about his sister Belle’s ordeal but refrained from physically confronting Tom, although he made it clear that he was aware of his actions.
Tom has since kept a low profile to avoid the Dingles and Belle hasn’t seen or heard from him. However, as fans of the ITV soap will know, Tom vowed to remain in Belle’s life permanently, so she isn’t naïve about his eventual return.
Meanwhile, Amelia Spencer, played by Daisy Campbell, has started a relationship with Tom, ignoring all warnings about his dangerous nature and secretly meeting him.
In upcoming scenes, Belle receives a call from her landlady, Kim Tate (Claire King), who informs her that Belle’s house has been left in disarray.
Belle has been staying at Wishing Well with Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) recently because even though Tom has officially left Dale Head, he kept showing up and Belle knew she wasn’t safe, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Belle and Lydia return to Dale Head to investigate why Kim was worried, only to find the place in a mess.
In the midst of the chaos, Belle spots a screw on the floor and is horrified to realise it’s a tiny camera. This shocking discovery reveals that Tom had been secretly spying on her in the house.
Feeling violated, Belle confides in Lydia who urges her to take the evidence to the police.
The pair discuss the terrifying situation, with Lydia hoping she has said enough to persuade Belle to seek assistance from the authorities.
Meanwhile, Amelia seems to have had a change of heart about her new beau Tom, sparking hope when she arranges a private meeting with Belle to discuss him.
But can Amelia be trusted in this matter or has she also fallen under Tom’s spell?
Alone at the Dingles, Belle anxiously waits for Amelia but is petrified when Tom lets himself in, blocks her escape route and locks the doors.
Will help arrive for Belle before it’s too late?
