Emmerdale reveals what really happened to Nate as Tracy shares devastating update
Emmerdale fans were wondering what happened to Nate Robinson after his apparent abrupt exit from the ITV soap last week, with an update shared on Monday night
Viewers tuning into Emmerdale learned an update about missing Nate Robinson, as Tracy Metcalfe shared a sad update about his whereabouts.
Amid fans being convinced that despite some exit news Nate was in grave peril, Tracy shared some emotional news and a message from Nate with others on Monday. As Nate’s dad Cain Dingle failed to get hold of him and left him a voicemail message, begging him to come home, Tracy soon learned where he was.
In a devastating message, Nate finally reached out to Tracy after his sudden departure confirming he was alive and well. He also confirmed he was in Shetland, where he’d planned to flee to last week after a violent showdown with Cain.
But as he announced his arrival in Scotland and confirmed he was okay, his sad words to Tracy left her devastated once more. He told her his “head was a mess” and he was settling in, advising her not to call him as he would “call her when he was ready”.
Nate was left distressed after being accused of kissing his stepmother Moira Dingle, with Cain and Tracy turning on him. It was only when Moira was diagnosed with a brain tumour last week that his innocence was confirmed, but he’d already left.

Jurell Carter quit the role of Nate after five years, with this being his exit storyline. But amid him being AWOL during the fire drama, fans were convinced he had been killed off and that Nate was dead.
However on Friday night, John Sugden confirmed he’d seen Nate before he left the village, confirming he had been away from the farm when the fire happened. He also confirmed that Nate had decided to leave and soon left the village, without saying goodbye to many residents.
Actor Jurell broke his silence addressed his sad final scenes and confirmed to The Mirror and other press that Nate had fled for Scotland after all. Explaining Nate’s decision to up and leave, confirming his exit, he told us: “It feels like everything is just falling apart overnight. It’s huge for him but family is massive for Nate. The fact that family is everything to him, it’s a pivotal moment in terms of Nate going forward and his decision leaving everyone behind.
“It’s not what he wanted to do, but he’s been left with no choice. It’s not backfired but everything has shattered apart. He’s lost his family and everything else.” Nate was proven innocent over his apparent kiss with Moira in the episode, with those who turned on him realising he had done nothing wrong but that it was too late to fix things – but will Nate forgive Tracy and Cain?
