Emmerdale favourite rushed to hospital after incident on the farm – and it’s not looking good
A showdown with a bull has left Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) in a very bad way in Emmerdale.
In recent weeks, Mack has mainly been seen getting irritated by newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). He arrived in the village looking to get his van fixed, but has stayed longer than expected due to sister Vic (Isabel Hodgins) being there, and Mack and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) getting revenge by pushing the vehicle into a lake.
In tonight’s episode, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) reminded Mackenzie that she needed his help on the farm. The jobs he needed to do were quite close to Butlers’ new bull though, which left him a little apprehensive.
Fortunately, after a little wind-up, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) and John confirmed they had moved the bull for Mack.
When he got up at the barn, however, Mackenzie got quite the shock.
With a door open, the penny quickly dropped the bull wasn’t safely shut up. Moments later, the animal trotted into the barn and came face to face with Mack.
Completely panicking but trying not to show it, Mackenzie tried to escape from the bull. He ended up climbing a high gate but fell right at the end, smacking his body onto the hard concrete.
After being found by Nate, Mack was taken back to Butlers and claimed he didn’t feel too bad.
Returning home, Mack was seen chatting to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) in the kitchen.
To her horror, Charity then watched Mackenzie collapse to the floor.
Outside, as Mack was wheeled into an ambulance, Aaron approached and wondered what had happened.
With Mack on his way to hospital as a result of the injuries sustained during the fall, he remains convinced John sabotaged the situation with the bull as an act of revenge.
But is he right?
