Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) made her way to the surgery in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, hoping to get some answers on why she’s not been feeling herself.

Moira’s behaviour started to become cause for concern after Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) returned from prison. As the days have ticked by, Moira has become irritable, argumentative, and no one really knows why.

The beloved character started to accept that something might be seriously wrong a few days ago. On her own in a barn, Moira experienced pain in her head and then suffered a seizure shortly after.

Moira ended up sleeping in the barn. When Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) found her the next morning, Cain said that Moira looked ‘dead to the world’.

In tonight’s episode, Moira paid a visit to the pub for a delivery. When she entered the bar, she took her time with telling Chas (Lucy Pargeter) about some products being in the fridge. This immediately caused Chas to worry, so she got Moira to talk about what’s been going on.

Following her breast cancer diagnosis and operation, Chas knows exactly what it’s like to worry about a health problem and the possible outcomes. The two women discussed the prospect of Moira’s symptoms being as a result of the menopause, but they both knew speculating and assuming wouldn’t really achieve much.

Chas told Moira that she should visit Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) mainly for peace of mind.

Moira was feeling apprehensive when she arrived at the surgery for her appointment because her chat wasn’t with Manpreet, it was with Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) – Cain’s best mate.

Liam told Moira that anything shared would remain confidential. With that, Moira explained her issues and revealed she doesn’t know if she’s ‘coming or going’ at the moment, feels anxious often and is worried about the impact her issues are having on her marriage.

Moira wondered if she was going through the menopause. Liam said this is likely, but said her symptoms also link to other conditions too.

The doctor booked some blood tests for Moira and also told her to record whenever she experiences an issue. However, because she seemed tired and dazed as he chatted, will she remember to do this?

Will the blood tests finally allow Moira to discover what’s wrong with her?
