Emmerdale’s Samson Dingle receives surprising offer of help as he faces prison
Samson is facing a lengthy spell behind bars for what he did to Matty Barton
TROUBLED teen Samson Dingle is trying to prepare for being locked away after being caught in his lies.
The boy got caught up in a bad situation after making the wrong friends, and falsely accused his cousin Matty of stabbing him.
In reality Samson’s friend Josh had pushed him onto Matty’s knife, and then threatened the teen into covering for him.
After Matty was terrorised behind bars for being trans, his mum Moira begged Samson to tell police the truth.
Instead he went to the cops and had Moira and her brother Mackenzie charged with kidnapping.
Samson was eventually caught out for obstructing justice, and with his parents giving up on protecting him, he is in hot water.
Upcoming episodes will see the boy forced to learn how to protect himself in jail as he prepares to plead guilty at his hearing.
His dad Sam begs Aaron to give him a pep talk about the reality of life behind bars.
Aaron was previously involved with the criminal McFarlane family and found himself locked up for a year after attacking Kasim Sabet.
He was bullied and suffered from panic attacks during his time in prison, so Sam hopes he can give Samson some advice about to handle himself when he is faced with poor treatment from thugs.
Much to the entire Dingle family’s surprise, Cain is the one who decides to take it upon himself to prepare Samson for jail.
He winds the boy up and batters him as a demonstration of how he will be treated in prison.
