Emmerdale ‘exit’ for Dingle favourite after Sam betrays entire family

Emmerdale fans are convinced they know what will happen to Samson Dingle after he finally told the truth about the stabbing incident with Matty Barton

Emmerdale seemed to confirm Samson Dingle’s (played by Sam Hall) exit on Friday after he admitted Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) didn’t really stab him.

After causing a family uproar leading to Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) being arrested, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) swayed him to spill the beans.

Friday’s episode saw Samson, terrified for his future fearing he would be arrested for lying to the police.

“Dad, please, I was scared and I didn’t want to go to prison,” a distraught Samson wept to Sam (Jame Hooton), who sharply hit back: “But it was ok for Matty.”

His son replied: “I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.”, reports the Express.

All teary-eyed, Samson begged, “I am sorry,” prompting Lydia to lay down the law: “Then fix it.”

“Josh will come after me, Cain will kill me,” he gasped. “Dad please what am I going to do?”

In a shocking twist, Sam told him to leg it: “Run. Get away from here, it is the only way I can help you.”

So what’s next for Samson? Is he going to flee the village or will guilt eat him up? If he does a runner, poor Matty could be left holding the bag for something he never did.

Fans flocked to X in a frenzy, venting their frustration over Sam’s guidance to Samson and his backstabbing antics against the Dingles.

“Nooo don’t tell him that Sam, we want justice # Emmerdale,” one fan pleaded while another said: “Aye Samsung lad – run – tis the Dingle way #Emmerdale.”(sic).

A third added: “I’m glad Samson has finally told the truth for Matty’s sake… #emmerdale.”

Someone else fumed: “SAM?? What kind of stupid advice is that! #Emmerdale”. (sic)

“Run Samson, run… fantastic advice…,” a fifth quipped, with yet another fan commenting: “Samson needs to face up to what he’s done. Running is not the answer. Sam is an idiot.” (sic).

Elsewhere in the episode, the drama escalated at Home Farm as Kim Tate (Claire King) butted heads with Rose Jackson (Christina Tremarco).

The tension follows Kim’s cover-up for Billy (Jay Kontzle) after baby Evan’s emergency rush back to the hospital.

The village turned its back on Kim until she spilled the beans to her hubby Will (Dean Andrews) about the real events.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
