Emmerdale killer return confirmed after abrupt exit – and it’s not good news for Liam
Emmerdale child killer Ella Forster, played by Paula Lane, returns next week but things take a turn for the worst after she's involved in a serious car accident
Ella Foster returns to Emmerdale next week.
She rocked up in the village earlier this year and it didn’t take fans of the ITV soap long to figure out that she was keeping a big secret, and viewers didn’t waste time trying to guess it.
Many wondered that if she was a friend of serial killer Meena Jutla’s (Paige Sandhu) but it was revealed that Ella killed her best friend when she was 11 years old and subsequently went to prison.
In the years since she had moved from place to place, always having to move on when someone inevitably found out about her past.
Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) was in a relationship with Ella at the time and was appalled to discover the truth, particularly given that he knows what it’s like to lose a child after Meena murdered his beloved Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger).
He put Ella in her car and ordered her to leave the village, leaving fans curious to know if this was the last we’d see of Ella.
However, Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed that Ella will be back in scenes set to air next week.
Manpreet Sharma (Rebeca Sarker) encourages her colleague Liam to rekindle things with ex lover Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) when he resigns himself to remaining single. The next day, a mysterious figure watches on. Later, Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) realises there’s an intruder – it’s Ella.
Fragile Ella admits she is back to collect the rest of her things. As Ella leaves, Mandy is conflicted. Before long, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) calls the ambulance service to alert them to a crash on a country road involving Ella’s car. Is she ok?
