Emmerdale scene exposes Rose and Ruby’s true target – but it’s not Kim Tate

Emmerdale’s latest plot twist has revealed that Rose Jackson and Ruby Milligan have more than just Kim Tate in their crosshairs.
The duo disclosed another individual they’re targeting, seemingly the main focus of their scheme. But the exact details of their plan are yet to be unveiled.
However, what is known, is that Ruby and Rose share a connection beyond the village and have joined forces. Ruby wiped out Rose’s debts in return for her assistance in targeting their mutual adversary, Kim.
Ruby’s spouse, Caleb Milligan, also had a bone to pick with Kim after it was revealed he was the secret son of Frank Tate, Kim’s former partner. Kim abandoned Frank during his fatal heart attack, leading Caleb to blame her for his father’s death.
Caleb felt entitled to Home Farm and all of Kim’s possessions, believing she had unlawfully taken some of Frank’s assets. While Caleb has since abandoned this pursuit, it appears Ruby has taken up the mantle with Rose’s help.
Rose has cleverly positioned herself within Home Farm as Dawn Taylor’s mother, who happens to be Kim’s stepdaughter. Kim, married to Rose’s ex Will Taylor (Dawn’s father), is displeased with Rose’s presence and is determined to evict her.
Rose and Dawn have been estranged for years following Rose’s decision to abandon Dawn and Will. Now, Rose seems eager to reconnect with her daughter, but could this all be a ruse putting Dawn in danger?
In a twist of events on Tuesday, Rose and Ruby made it clear that Will is the one in Rose’s crosshairs, not Kim. It appears this might be because Ruby has her sights set on Kim, and she needs Rose to distract Will.
What we do know is that Ruby wiped out Rose’s debts as a bargaining chip, requiring her to infiltrate Home Farm and meddle with Will and Kim. Ruby hinted that if Rose could successfully sow discord between Will and Kim, her end of the bargain would be fulfilled.
But what exactly is the agreement and how far will they push it? In the latest episode, Ruby coldly threatened to reveal Rose’s secret to Dawn, reminding her that her role in the scheme was to get close to Will.
She warned her: “It’s Will you need to be focusing on,” urging her to leave Kim alone and stop instigating arguments with her. So while Rose isn’t directly targeting Kim and is instead zeroing in on Will, could Dawn eventually uncover the truth?
