Emmerdale spoilers: Prison exit ‘confirmed’ for Aaron as callous Ruby ‘set to get rid of him’
Ethan Anderson (Emile John) is public enemy number one in the Emmerdale village right now.
Ethan was responsible for putting Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) in a coma after crashing their car while under the influence of alcohol. After the collision, Ethan pulled Nicky from the wreckage and left him on the floor, fully prepared to try and cover up his involvement.
It wasn’t long until the truth got revealed and Charles (Kevin Mathurin) forced his son to face consequences with the police. Charles’ approach was the right way to do things but Ruby (Beth Cordingly)? She didn’t quite agree.
During the village fete, Ethan staggered into Main Street as the horrified attendees looked on. He collapsed to the ground and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) and Charles rushed to help. Ethan told them he’d been the victim of a hit and run.
We didn’t have long to wait to find out what had happened to Ethan. He was alone in the house after Manpreet had decided he didn’t have concussion and he had a visitor. Ruby Fox-Milligan suddenly appeared in his kitchen. ‘Door was open. I thought I’d see how you were doing.’
Ethan told her that he knew it was her who’d run him over because he’d seen her behind the wheel. She said that had been ‘Kind of the point.’
As it stands, Ethan and Caleb are the only two people who know Ruby was responsible for the hit and run, which has left the other villagers spreading rumours and accusations.
In Friday’s (May 24) episode of the ITV soap, Ethan and Charles entered the pub for a drink after Ethan was formerly charged for drink driving by the police.
It was a risky move from the father and son, as obviously all eyes were on them.
Sitting at the bar was Aaron (Danny Miller). He had been talking to a newly returned Chas (Lucy Pargeter), but couldn’t help throw a few comments towards Charles and Ethan about leaving Nicky to die.
When discussion turned to Ethan’s own hit and run, Charles said it wouldn’t surprise him if he discovered Aaron had been involved.
The conversation stopped due to Chas telling them to pipe down. While Charles’ focused remained on Aaron, he failed to spot Ruby sitting near him, listening in on the bickering.
We certainly wouldn’t put it past Ruby to let Aaron go to prison for a crime she committed, but is this the way the storyline is going?
