Emmerdale may have teased a tragic fate for Ethan Anderson on Tuesday night, after an eerie comment from one character.
The character will be seen collapsing and fighting for his life next week on the ITV soap according to spoilers, days on from a deliberate hit and run. Currently on the show, Nicky Miligan’s family want revenge on Ethan after he left Nicky to die in a recent drink-driving crash.
Ethan had crashed Nicky’s car with both of them drunk, with Nicky sustaining a serious head injury. Ethan pulled Nicky from the car and then fled the scene, not even calling for help.
With Nicky remaining in a coma, his loved ones are desperate for Ethan to pay for what he did after his guilt was exposed. Ethan faces prison for his crime, but clearly it’s not enough as someone runs him over and tries to kill him in scenes this week – ahead of his life hanging in the balance next week.
Now a scene in the latest episode may have foreshadowed a grim fate for the character, ahead of it being confirmed whether he lives or dies. Ruby and Caleb Miligan were furious to see Ethan walking around like nothing had happened, with Nicky’s fate still not known.

They both confronted him leading to Ethan walking off, and it’s something Ruby said that may have ‘foreshadowed’ the dark scenes ahead. Caleb said he wanted to see Ethan suffer right now, and not in prison to which Ruby agreed.
She then commented: “If Nicky doesn’t pull through he’s gonna wish he was dead.” Could this be a major hint as to what Ethan’s fate will be after his own battle for life?
We don’t know yet who runs over Ethan, we just know he is badly injured but appears to be fine into next week as he’s up and about. That said he suddenly collapses, while it hasn’t been confirmed if it’s a result of his hit and run.
