ITV Emmerdale Ethan Anderson’s downfall ‘sealed’ as he makes huge mistake in Nicky car crash horror
Ethan Anderson was responsible for the horror car crash that left Emmerdale resident Nicky Milligan for dead, and he ran off from the scene and made it seem like he wasn't there
Ethan Anderson’s ‘downfall’ has been exposed by Emmerdale fans – after the horror car crash this evening.
The lawyer has just bagged a new job after being out of work for a long time, but in a shock turn of events, he found things on the line before he even started when he was involved in a huge car crash with Nicky Milligan.
Nicky panicked when his boyfriend Suni explained that he was in a bar with the homophobic men who attacked them last year, and and Nicky was adamant he needed to be with Suni. As he suggested driving over, and was way over the limit, Ethan insisted he would drive but in his own panic at seeing a police car, and convinced he was, too, over the limit, he crashed the car.
He didn’t even stay to check Nicky was OK and wiped the phone before running off into the woods whilst a startled Moira noticed the car wreck and Nicky’s lifeless body and immediately called an ambulance for help.

Whilst Ethan returned home and tried to insist everything was OK, fans are convinced they’ve rumbled how he will get caught for what he has done. One fan wrote: “Ethan could still end up with internal bleeding #Emmerdale,” whilst a second added: “@emmerdale #emmerdale I think Ethan is going to start bleeding through his shirt anytime soon..”
“Ethan was in a lot of pain when he fled from the car #emmerdale,” a third shared, with a fourth writing: “Ethan really needs to get checked over by a doctor. #Emmerdale @emmerdale.”
Next week, after learning the truth of what his son has done, Charles decides to report his son. Kevin Mathurin – who plays Charles – explained of his character’s decision: “Charles knows his son really well and he knows something isn’t right.
“At first, Charles thinks that Ethan is really nervous about his new job. It’s an amazing job that’s coming up for him and he’s been out of work for a while. Charles is just happy that his son has landed on his feet and wants the best for him. But it’s more than nerves – there’s something rattling Ethan and he can’t quite figure it out. He coaxes it out of him and eventually he finds out what’s going on.”
He explained: “There’s always that battle between ‘Charles the vicar’ and ‘Charles the man and father’. He wants to do right by his son, obviously. But righteously, the right thing is to own up and face the consequences. Charles will support Ethan no matter what happens. You can’t take your own wheel, sometimes you’ve got to hand God the wheel and see what happens. I think every parent will understand what Charles is going through, or it’ll be a debate on ‘what I’d do as a parent.'”
