Emmerdale star lands first new role – just months after exit’
Former Emmerdale star Jessie Elland has secured an exciting new stage role months after her soap exit.
The Chloe Harris actress left the soap last Christmas and is confirmed to be starring in a musical version of 101 Dalmatians, alongside Kym Marsh and Faye Tozer.
Jessie will be playing Danielle in the theatre adaptation which is set to open in Wimbledon next month.
This comes after Jessie was met with heaps of praise after announcing she’ll be publishing her first book.
She penned: ‘I wrote a book and it’s going to be published!!! Ironically I can’t find the words to better articulate this news.’
My very first novel will be published by @baskervillejmp, in the UK & Commonwealth. This would absolutely not be possible without my amazing agent @ktgreenstreet and the entire team at @paperliterary.
Life just continues to get more surreal; to have something you’ve dreamed about since you were six years old (swipe!) come to fruition is something beyond words. This one is a particularly special fig. 📖💗
