24 Emmerdale pictures ‘confirm’ tragedy as one resident is left to die and another’s fate is ‘sealed’
Emmerdale lines up a traumatic week for the residents of the village, with an ordeal on the cards for one character while another faces prison, as previewed in Metro’s newest picture gallery, with 24 pictures on offer.
The ITV soap has aired a number of emotional developments over the past few weeks, from Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) decision to kidnap her own baby to Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) funeral.
Trust me when I say there will be more tears to come so might be worth stocking up on tissues!
Rhona, for one, experiences a pretty turbulent week. With the police involved after nasty Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) had her arrested, she and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) are left seeking legal advice over next steps regarding Ivy.
But there’s more upsetting news in store for her first, as confirmed in my pictures, as she’s informed that she must plead guilty to kidnapping in order to get the most lenient sentence.
Leo, meanwhile, is involved in a fight at school, with Rhona receiving the blame due to her preoccupation with Ivy. Can she find a way to make things right?
And what’s more, can she get access to her beloved daughter?
It’s not just Rhona that’s got a devastating week on the cards, however, as Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) suffers a traumatic night terror involving deceased criminal Harry (Robert Beck), who she killed in self-defence at Christmas.
The pub landlady agrees to get help, much to the relief of concerned other half Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), who has been worried sick over her mental health following the events of the festive season.
Charity, however, reconsiders after a trip to Harry’s grave, which she trashes, believing that she has now taken her power back.
But a particularly terrifying nightmare about Harry ensues and soon she starts to see the bad man everywhere, with her paranoia spiralling as she reaches for a weapon to protect herself. In shocking scenes, she gravely injures Mack, who is left fighting for his life.
Can Charity save her beloved husband before it’s too late? What’s more, will this incident result in her finally getting the help she so desperately needs?
It’s going to be quite a week!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, February 19 and Friday, February 23 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
