Emmerdale’s Tom King sickening abuse worsens as he tortures wife Belle Dingle in harrowing scenes
BELLE is trapped in a hellish marriage and her friends have no idea
EMMERDALE thug Tom King has violently attacked wife Belle Dingle after their dinner party went to hell.
The abusive vet – who is played by actor James Chase in the ITV soap – forced Belle’s hand under boiling water in sickening scenes as his abuse spiralled out of controlled.
Throwing a dinner party for the others at the vets and their partners, Tom was seething when Vanessa joked he should bow to her.
But after Belle tried to diffuse the tension of Vanessa’s joke by saying Tom really respected her and her experience, Tom was furious.
Following her into the kitchen he spat: “It was a joke, so why did you make it sound like I had an issue?
“Spelling it out like that in front of all of my bosses. I would never speak for you in front of one of your bridezillas. At least pay me the same respect.
“You think five minutes training to be a vet nurse makes you know anything. In the game? You make it sound like I sell used cars. Lay off the subject of my work, you sounded like an idiot.”
Back at the table, and with the knowledge that Belle is taking contraception, Tom announced that they were trying for a baby.
With the Wellington burning, Belle rushed out and realised that Tom had found her medication.
Fleeing upstairs in tears, Tom followed her up and confronted her, verbally lashing out at her until Mandy arrived and he stopped.
But back downstairs with Tom’s criticism escalating, Belle rushed out her cake but Rhona and Marlon’s argument ended with them storming out.
Mandy, Paddy, Vanessa and Suzie quickly followed leaving Belle alone with Tom – and she was terrified.
Following her into the kitchen where was doing the washing up, Tom threw the cake to the floor before laying into her.
She tried to leave but he held her at the kitchen sink and forced her hand under the scalding hot tap.
Belle screamed: “Tom, you’re burning me.”
She broke down in tears and in agony as Tom simply told her she was a great wife and walked off to bed.
But will Belle be able to escape Tom or will his abuse get even worse?
