Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle issued stern warning days before wedding to ‘awful’ Tom King
Belle Dingle has been told by "ditch" Tom King by concerned Emmerdale viewers as the "controlling" groom continues to "show warning signs" in the lead up to their wedding day
Emmerdale star Belle Dingle has been issued a warning from fans as she prepares to marry Tom King.
The couple are set to tie the knot next week and have been busy planning their big day. During Monday’s (February 12) Tom was thrown because Belle admitted that doesn’t want to take his surname.
She offered a reasonable explanation but Tom was left thwarted and his reaction sparked concerns from fans of the ITV soap who shared their fears for Belle online.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “I don’t like this Tom King man. When is Belle going to cancel the wedding? Her last few partners have been diabolical and she’s still so young.” Another added: “At what point is Belle gonna realise Tom is awful?” A third person said: “Ditch him belle. Asap.”
A fourth social media user said: “Oh Belle , this is so cringe and awkward! Don’t marry him! Warning signs constantly now!!!!” Someone else agreed: “Belle…..DON’T marry this selfish, controlling, insecure waste of space.” It comes after Tom attacked Belle last year after she rejected his marriage proposal. The pair quickly forgot about the incident and Belle later got down on one knee and a delighted Tom accepted but will it be a happily ever after for the couple?
Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that Belle agrees to become Mrs King in ucoming scenes and plans are soon afoot for Belle’s night at Wishing Well ahead of the wedding. Belle’s emotional ahead of her big day due to the absence of both her parents and moots cancelling but Tom’s hurt reminding her neither of his parents will be there either and storms off in a mood.
On the wedding day, Belle’s not heard from Tom and doesn’t even know if it is going ahead as Tom continues to ignore her calls. Although Lydia and Mandy Dingle do their best to rally her, Belle worries it is off. Meanwhile Jimmy King tries to give Tom perspective and soon Belle’s relieved when Tom texts to confirm the wedding is still on.
Now able to enjoy her wedding day, she enjoys being fussed over by Lydia and Mandy. There’s excitement amongst the guests as they prepare for the wedding outside the Church. Just in the nick of time, Sam Dingle arrives to give Belle away, bringing a letter from her late mum Lisa with him.
Tom’s left frustrated by the Dingles’ oddities as the ceremony commences but the couple prepare to take their vows and after a few of minor hiccups and finally get wed. The Dingles celebrate in typical Dingle style – much to Tom’s chagrin. The rowdy Dingle traditions begin to grate on Tom at the wedding reception. Suddenly intent on causing mayhem, Ruby Milligan-Fox interrupts the reception sending it into disarray. Tom’s fuming that Belle’s wild family has seemingly ruined their big day. Is Belle in danger again at the ends of her new husband?
