Emmerdale baby bombshell as Belle takes pregnancy test leaving Tom ‘disappointed’
Emmedale's Belle Dingle is left feeling concerned next week as she worries she could be pregnant and her husband Tom King is left disappointed with the test result
Belle Dingle is worried she could be pregnant in Emmerdale next week.
The newlywed, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, takes a pregnancy test but it is negative. She is relieved but her new husband Tom King (James Chase) is disappointed.
Belle is stuck in a really bad marriage with Tom, who has done some horrible things to her in a bid keep her close. He has been messing with Belle’s head for months, telling her she’s the problem when she’s not.
Tom recently decided put a tracker on Belle’s mobile phone after she told him she was going away for the night on a work trip. He made a creepy call to Belle about her day, then he checked his phone to see she was at a hotel in Leeds. Belle hasn’t been lucky in love before, with exes like Lachlan White and Jamie Tate, and now it seems like things are getting worse because Tom is tricking her.
Emmerdale has confirmed a very special episode that will explore the public and private sides to Tom and Belle’s relationship. Boss Laura Shaw tolld press: “The real life stories that we’ve been given access to and the information and time we’ve spent with charities like Refuge have shown how quickly these relationships can turn physical so that’s what we’ll see happen next with those two.
“Through our storyline we’ve been trying to find new and innovative ways to tell this story and we have a bit of a special episode coming up where we kind of do what everyone seems to like and step away from our usual Emmerdale format and do things a little differently. So it’s a dinner party mainly focusing on Belle and Tom, and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
“We’ll see what goes on in their relationships but through the special way we’ve done it is that we’ll see behind closed doors. I’ll leave you to work out what that might be!” With Tom left disappointed at the news that his wife isn’t pregnant with his child, has Belle put herself in more danger?
