Emmerdale have seemingly confirmed the truth about Ella Forster after various theories of who she knows and what her real motive is
Emmerdale have hinted at what Ella Forster is hiding from the village – after new filming pictures emerged.
Ella Forster, played by Paula Lane, is best known to soap viewers for her role as Kylie Platt on Coronation Street, but she is hiding a big secret from the village. She arrived in the Dales when she stood up against her boss and lost her job.
She now works at the local surgery on reception and has caught the eye of Dr Liam Cavanagh, who is also interested in Chas Dingle. Ella is confirmed to be hiding something, with some speculating that she may have ties with notorious serial killer Meena.
“Ella does have a past that is going to be revealed. She does have responsibilities elsewhere outside the village that mean a great deal to her and I’m so looking forward to exploring this further,” she confessed recently.

She further added, “When something or someone so important to her is put at risk she will fight so hard to protect that situation. This is a part of her we’ve yet to see and there is currently a lot at stake and a lot to fight for.”
New pictures show Ella attending a funeral alongside Dr Liam Cavanagh. The funeral is for a lady called June Phillips, but who is June? During the funeral, as Ella watches from the side, she finds herself caught up in an argument between a funeralgoer and Dr Liam.
In another snap, she is also seen leaving flowers, but what is her connection with this mystery woman? We know she is related to someone outside the village but could June be connected to Emmerdale somehow?

Paula held a Q&A with fans recently on social media, where she teased more about Ella’s secret.
One fan asked: “Opinions on Meena Jutla?” amid viewers thinking Ella’s link could be to the former village murderer. Answering the question, Paula wrote: “I’ve been howling at all the speculation!” Meanwhile, another follower asked: “Can you give us a small hint on Ella’s background?” to which Paula replied: “I can’t give anything away but I promise you it’s worth the wait xx.”

When she arrived in the Dales, Ella actress Paula hinted at her character being involved in a love triangle.
“There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery,” she said.
