Emmerdale Will’s mystery caller ‘exposed’ as fans rumble link to Dawn’s dark past
Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed the return of someone from Will’s past and fans are already speculating on who Rose could be – and how she’s connected to Dawn and Billy
Emmerdale fans are sure they know just who mysterious newcomer Rose is – along with her connection to Will and Dawn.
Spoilers for the ITV soap have confirmed that Will is set to receive a mysterious phone call next week, forcing him to hide a secret from his wife Kim. Later he heads to the hospital to meet Rose, played by Christine Tremarco.
Though Will’s exact link to Rose hasn’t yet been revealed, fans have been desperate to work out how she could be related to some dark secrets from his past. Plenty think she could have something to do with Dawn killing DI Malone, the boss of the criminal gang Will worked for before he went to prison.
Malone tried to get Dawn to take a fatal overdose after getting her future husband Billy arrested, later attacking Dawn and Harriet – but three shots from Dawn stopped him in his tracks, forcing Dawn and her dad to bury the body in the woods nearby.
Another suggested Rose might be Dawn’s mum, brought into the soap as her young son Evan has been confirmed for a gruelling leukaemia storyline. The user said: “With Dawn’s son Evan being diagnosed with leukaemia later in spring, I think this is a good time for her mum to be around for support.
“Although nothing has been mentioned about her. Maybe this was another secret Will was keeping from Kim. Good casting! Look forward to Kim vs. Rose!”
Soap spoilers have confirmed that Will’s distraction isn’t the only thing going on at Home Farm, as Billy finds himself faced with another potential suitor. It turns out Manpreet Sharma has her eye on the young PT, as her relationship with vicar Charles Anderson breaks down.
Next week, the pair unite for a steamy training session where Manpreet flirts with Billy. Will, meanwhile, heads to meet up with Rose, but keeps quiet about where he’s been with Kim. Manpreet, meanwhile, is left feeling dejected as Charles shows a complete lack of interest in her. Buoyed by Billy’s advice, she reckons a dinner date could be the answer to all their romance problems.

Over on social media, fans are already spotting sparks flying between Manpreet and Billy, with one X user penning: “I wonder what plans the writers have for Manpreet? I feel like they have a big story planned for her?” Another answered: “Bet she’s going to have an affair.”
“Billy and Manpreet affair when?” someone else wondered, as a fourth social media user said: “Billy and Manpreet… just putting it out there.”
