Emmerdale legend left reeling as official complaint is lodged against her
Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) has dealt a further blow to Emmerdale village after lodging an official complaint against much-loved GP Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).
The estranged wife of Caleb (William Ash) swanned into the ITV soap earlier this year looking to reconcile with her husband, who was engaging in a steamy affair his niece-in-law wife Tracy (Amy Walsh).
Finding out about their fling, she then exposed it to all of their neighbours at Tom and Belle King’s (James Chase and Eden Taylor-Draper) wedding reception.
Setting about rinsing her husband of all of his business assets, employing Kim Tate (Claire King) to help out.
She later came to blows with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), but after accidentally elbowing Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) in the chest following her double mastectomy operation, we saw a softer side to Ruby, who was resentful of her own actions.
However, in tonight’s (11th April) episode, she was back to her old tricks.
Ruby was livid earlier this week when she discovered that Manpreet had turned an ill Caleb away from the GP practice, despite him being in serious pain.
It later transpired that he was suffering from appendicitis.
Manpreet had made it clear that the surgery operates on an appointment only basis and she was unable to see him at the time.
On her advice, he agreed to head to hospital but later collapsed with the pain whilst sitting beside the pavilion.
Lucky, archenemy and nephew Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) was on hand to help him out – but Ruby still hasn’t forgiven Manpreet for turning him away.
After dishing out a vicious jab to the doctor in the café, Dr Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) later dealt the devastating news that an official complaint had begun.
Will Ruby ever stop persecuting her neighbours?
