Emmerdale confirms Tom King’s next victim as tragedy rocks the village in new spoilers
It’s another jam-packed week on Emmerdale as wedding bells chime for one happy couple… or do they?
Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) are elated that everything is going so smoothly prior to their big day, but what they don’t realise is that her mum Kerry (Laura Norton) is struggling to find the cash to pay for it!
Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) are left questioning Gus’ (Alan McKenna) motives as their custody battle for baby Ivy continues and Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) realises her boyfriend Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is keeping a huge secret from her.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jay Kontzle) struggles to balance his work and family life, with no help from domineering Kim Tate (Claire King).
Plus, Tom King (James Chase) has blood on his hands as things turn physical in his plot to control wife Belle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) life.
So pop open the bubbly and throw that confetti in the air, we’ve got a wedding to get to! But before that… it’s time for a look at next week’s Emmerdale.
Monday April 15
Following this week’s courtroom drama, Rhona is still hopeful that she can get custody of baby Ivy.
As Amy and Matty’s wedding approaches, Kerry is still hoping she can flog a necklace to pay for the event. Suzy warns that it’s time to cough up.
Will she be able to find the money before the big day?
Meanwhile, Manpreet potentially makes matters worse with Ruby after confronting her face to face, and Jacob continues to keep his six week Berlin placement a secret from girlfriend Victoria.
Tuesday April 16
With Kerry praying the necklace will be worth enough to pay for the wedding ceremony, Leyla and Suzy continue to prepare the venue and discuss the cash she owes.
Blissfully obvious to her mum’s ordeal, Amy arrives at Home Farm with Matty for the rehearsal and Kim demands full payment.
Back at the village, having learned that the jewellery was worthless, Kerry is forced to admit to Pollard that she can’t afford the wedding, leaving him gobsmacked.
Billy is put out when Kim shoots down his plans to start up his PT classes again, but after some support from Manpreet, he’s left wondering whether he has the courage to speak up to her.
Meanwhile, Victoria worries that Jacob has turned down the Berlin opportunity for the sake of their relationship – will she convince him to leave?
Wednesday April 17
Matty and Amy are thrilled as they prepare for their nuptials!
…but their excitement doesn’t last long.
When Kerry reveals she can’t find the cash to pay for the event, Matty is blindsided by the news and Amy is devastated that her mum has betrayed her again.
After taking a mystery call, Leyla delivers the wonderful news that the wedding is back on, and the guests watch on as the bride walks down the aisle at Home Farm.
Tom is upset when he thinks he’s missing out on a work trip but Vanessa agrees to cover for him.
As Belle panics at the thought of being in Dale Head alone, she is unaware that her husband is keeping a watchful eye over her through the puppy cam.
Thursday April 18
At the hotel, Tom watches over his wife at home but erupts in rage when he sees Vinny turn up.
As she strolls through the woods with Vinny, she mentions that her phone is temperamental and he offers to fix it at the scrapyard.
Racing home and ready to kick off, Tom is knocked back to find Belle is missing and he can’t track her via the app.
Later in the day, having fixed it, Tom gets a notification to alert him of its location and he calls round to retrieve it – but when he overhears Vinny arriving, he panics and hits him over the head with a paperweight.
Quickly disposing of evidence, he flees the scene.
Meanwhile, Leyla is disappointed to hear that Jacob has cancelled his Berlin trip for the sake of his girlfriend.
With both the women fearful for his future if he misses out on the opportunity, Victoria makes a huge decision.
Elsewhere, Charity is thrown by her family’s change of behaviour and tells Mack that she wants normality back.
Dingles? Normal? We don’t think so.
