Emmerdale fans ‘unmask’ newcomer Ella after spotting giveaway clues – with mind-boggling family connection to village
Ella has had a much more low-key introduction than a fellow new arrival, but fans think it's for a specific reason.
EMMERDALE fans have ‘unmasked’ newcomer Ella Forster – with a mind-boggling family connection to the village.
The character arrived on the ITV soap earlier this year and is played by former Coronation Street actress, Paula Lane.
So far, Ella has befriended Mandy Dingle and managed to land herself a job as a receptionist at the doctors surgery.
But compared to another new arrival – Ruby Fox-Miligan – Ella has had a relatively low-key introduction, and Emmerdale fans think that’s because she’s building towards a big storyline.
Taking to a soap fan forum, one wrote: “Can’t really take to her. She seems to have taken a dislike to Bear for some strange reason.
“Just watching her last night rolling her eyes at Bear reminded me of Tina Dingle when she was last in the show. Does she have a connection with the village or is she just a random character.
“I have read from other viewers that she could have a connection with Meena – hope not.”
Another replied: “She will probably turn out to be Bears long lost daughter.”
The theory stuck with fans, as another wrote: “She will be Bear long lost daughter. No one ever arrives in the village with being a long lost relative of someone.
“Paddy has a step sister he never knew about.”
A fellow fan shared: “I wouldn’t be surprised if the guesses about her being Bear’s long lost child are right.
“That could definitely be her link to the village (because they all must have one right?). At least it would mean she’s not a Dingle so there’s that.”
Meanwhile someone else commented: “I really hadn’t thought that the whole point of her steaming in to some kind of antagonistic relationship with Bear could mean they are related.
“She really is going to be someone’s secret daughter isn’t she?”
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
