Emmerdale spoilers: Cain’s bombshell, Kim Tate wedding news and Ruby flashback episode

Emmerdale viewers are in for a treat as this month’s episodes promise to be filled with drama.

Cain Dingle’s big birthday is on the horizon, but after his unexpected affair with Ruby Miligan-Fox this month, he’s not exactly in a celebratory mood. Despite this, Moira is determined to make it a day to remember – until a massive revelation turns her world upside down.

In other news, a flashback episode to Ruby’s 16th birthday uncovers a shocking secret, while Kim Tate and Will Taylor take their relationship to the next level. Ross Barton faces a heartbreaking setback, and Tom King continues to stir up trouble from behind bars.

Here are the top Emmerdale spoilers, reports Leeds Live.

1. ) Cain spirals

Moira has plans to throw a surprise party for Cain’s birthday, but Matty isn’t sure she’s up to it. Cain, feeling guilty, lies about where he is and spends the night away from Moira.

Worried after not hearing from Cain all night, but still hopeful he will show up, Moira sends Matty home and postpones her appointment.

As time runs out to delay her appointment any further, she makes a desperate phone call to Cain. Frightened, Moira prepares to receive her pathology results alone.

2. ) Cain overwhelmed by guilt

Meanwhile, blocked by Jai’s poorly parked car and spurred on by a frantic voicemail from Moira, Cain is stopped by Swirling. An agitated Cain tries to hurry things along, but his aggressive behaviour leads to an unfortunate arrest.

A crestfallen Cain leaves Swirling in a dilemma when he requests a private phone conversation with Moira. Moira is shocked to learn from Cain that he’s been arrested. She reassures him that her test results were okay, but confesses to a devastated Matty that she’ll need radiotherapy, leading to an emotional moment between them.

Even though he’s only received a caution, Cain shows no interest in Swirling’s sympathetic understanding. Finding Cain intoxicated in the allotment, supportive Liam steps in to help his mate.

When Liam brings him home, Moira is livid with Cain. She discloses his surprise party and demands he get himself together for the next day. However, guilt-ridden Cain feels compelled to tell her the truth….

3. ) Ruby’s flashback episode

Brenda inadvertently reveals Tracy and Caleb’s affair, which darkens Anthony’s mood. Anthony confronts Caleb about his infidelity. Defending her actions and Caleb’s, Ruby is left unsettled by Anthony’s relentless questioning.

Soon, hopeful Ruby begins to mend her relationship with Steph. References to their past from Anthony leave Ruby feeling uneasy, despite her outward focus on moving forward.

In the present, Steph has discovered a photo of Ruby on her sixteenth birthday. Ruby feigns forgetfulness but is deeply disturbed. In a flashback to 1992, it’s Ruby’s sixteenth birthday and she recalls getting along well with teenage Rob. The audience will soon be given a peek into Ruby’s history.

4. ) Ross’ devastating setback

Ross is taken aback when he discovers that Moses is terrified of him. Realising that his actions have caused Moses to avoid him, Ross feels defeated, while Charity remains firm in her decision to send him away.

Ross notices the strong bond between Mack and Moses, leading him to abandon his plans to reconnect with his son.

5. ) Tom’s ongoing manipulation

Angel persuades Jimmy to read Tom’s letter, leaving him unsettled – but he sees through the attempt to manipulate them. After being emotionally blackmailed, Jimmy decides to pay Tom a visit.

Tom puts on a show of tears when Jimmy arrives, but is shocked when Jimmy tells him he will only give him a chance if he changes his plea. However, when Tom shifts the blame onto Belle, Jimmy leaves upset, realising that Tom will never change.

An exasperated Ollie tries to persuade Tom not to concoct another scheme to halt the trial, and later calls Angelica over for a task.

Unaware of Angel’s continued sympathy for Tom, neither Jimmy nor Nicola realise she is about to publicly share a video in support of his cause.

6. ) Kim and Will’s wedding update

Pretending to be smitten with Kim, secretive Will seizes the first opportunity upon their return to set up a meeting with Peter. Eager to put their plan into action, Will is puzzled when Peter informs him there’s been a change in circumstances.

Will is eager for the truth about their delayed plan to bring down Kim, but Peter declines to contact the unknown third party, instructing Will to be patient. Later, Will is consumed with remorse when Kim goes above and beyond for Christmas, indicating a fresh beginning in their relationship.

Following Peter’s instructions, Will proposes to Kim about renewing their vows on Christmas day. He feels guilty when an unsuspecting Kim gets emotional over his apparently romantic proposal.
