Monday December 2
Pollard is confused that the uplift in crypto-currency is not showing on his account. Brenda, pleased to have found a wedding dress, is concerned when she discovers there appears to be no money in her bank account to pay for it.
Pollard lies to Brenda, claiming that her missing money is due to a technology glitch. Soon Liam is concerned to see Pollard preparing to be reckless with the shop’s cash.
Pollard is fixated on placing a bet on a horse but is thwarted when Liam’s attempts to dissuade him end in confrontation with the doctor blocking his exit..
Ruby is shaken to realise Anthony is telling the truth about his cancer diagnosis.
Tuesday December 3
Worried sick that they’ve lost everything, Pollard faces Brenda’s devastated and angry wrath. Attempts to make things right with Brenda fall flat when she asks Pollard if his marriage proposal was genuine.
Realising it might have been influenced by his medication, Brenda is left despairing, and Pollard is heartbroken over the turmoil he has caused.
Enjoying lording his closeness with Moses over the livid Ross, Mack is pleased to have the stolen cash to provide for his family.
Jade paints a grim picture of the trouble Ross will face if he doesn’t come up with the ten grand she claims has been stolen, despite his protests that he didn’t take it.
Wednesday December 4
Steph convinces Caleb that Ruby and Anthony need to clear the air for there to be harmony within the family and the village.
Extending an olive branch to Anthony for Steph and Caleb’s benefit, Ruby quickly distances herself from the seemingly happy family.
Accusations quickly fly over who took Jade’s stolen cash as John inadvertently covers for the guilty Mack.
Needled by Jade about Charity and April, a fearful Ross is warned of the rising threat to his family if he can’t return Jade’s money.
While Ross unsuccessfully tries to convince Charity to take Moses away for a while to protect him, a frustrated April remains oblivious to the sinister nature of Jade’s presence.
Thursday December 5
Anthony tells Steph that a reconciliation with Ruby seems increasingly unlikely and hints that Steph could leave the village to support him.
Caleb pleads with Ruby to find a way to make things work and keep Steph in their lives.
Frustrated after Marlon rejects her request to go into town after school, April reluctantly accepts a lift from the seemingly friendly Jade.
Soon, a video call from Jade reveals that she has kidnapped April. He persuades Billy to lend him his car, insisting he must go alone to rescue April despite lacking the necessary money.
After receiving a location pin from Jade, Ross is overwhelmed with dread upon realising he is headed to a place intimately connected to his past.
Haunted by flashbacks to Donna’s ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ, Ross is terrified to find April, tearfully held near the edge of a car park by one of Jade’s goons, as Jade continues to demand the money he doesn’t have….
Friday December 6
Caleb, Marlon and Charity form a pact, while Cain’s conscience over what happened with Ruby continues to plague him.
Marlon feels wretched following events with April.
