BBC EastEnders ‘reveals’ who exposes Cindy and Junior – and it’s not Kojo or Lauren

There could be a major hint about who will expose Cindy Beale and Junior Knight this Christmas on EastEnders.

It’s been confirmed a recording of Cindy telling David Wicks about her affair will be played, exposing the fling to the Beales and the Knights. But while recent scenes have hinted Lauren Branning or Kojo Asare could be the ones to reveal all, it seems this might not be the case.

This week, Kojo faced danger after spotting Cindy and Junior kissing. As Cindy begged him not to spill the beans to her husband Ian Beale or her ex George Knight, Junior’s dad, there was an accident.

Kojo fell to the ground from an emergency exit stairwell, with him left seriously injured. Lauren Branning was revealed in spoilers to be the one that found him lifeless with the scenes airing on Wednesday.

It was confirmed Lauren would confront Cindy about what she’d seen, while she’s yet to recall what she saw the night she was injured in the club crush. Lauren was harmed after trying to get into the locked office, which had been blocked by Junior and Cindy who were getting steamy behind the door.

Peter Beale knows about Junior causing the blockage to the office, resulting in Lauren being crushed, but he has yet to tell her. If he does share this information, Lauren may recall seeing Cindy there too – exposing she was the mystery woman Junior was with.

So with this information as well as Kojo’s fall, and her determination to find out what Cindy is hiding, Lauren could have all the evidence to expose Cindy. When Kojo wakes up next week after his fall, will he remember what he sees, and will he and Lauren expose the pair together?

It seems maybe not, as something about the Christmas spoilers have teased one of two other residents will be the person to expose the affair – intentional or not. Freddie Slater unknowingly recorded Cindy’s confession about her affair with Junior, as he left his equipment recording.

He’d been recording birdsongs and sounds, and now he and Anna Knight have loaded them onto CDs. It’s very likely that this confession has made its way onto said CD, and this will be played at Christmas.

So will Freddie be the one to expose the affair by accident thanks to his new hobby? Might he, or Anna, decide to play the CDs in full and hear what’s been said? Could one of them then out the pair? Or perhaps the CD will innocently be played to everyone – but either way, it seems Lauren and Kojo will stay quiet.
