As Kojo suffers an awful accident, will he survive? Character’s fate revealed after Cindy showdown

There were devastating scenes on EastEnders on Tuesday night, as Kojo Asare was left fighting for his life.
George Knight’s brother was injured and left lifeless after a fall from an emergency stairwell in the Square. He was running away from Cindy Beale after catching her and his nephew Junior Knight sharing a kiss.
George has no idea his ex-wife Cindy is secretly having an affair with his son Junior, amid her marriage to Ian Beale. On George’s wedding to Elaine Peacock, Kojo became overwhelmed with the loud music and decided to step outside for some fresh air.
As he did this he caught Cindy and Junior in the act, with only Cindy realising. As Cindy confronted him he told her he’d seen them, adding: “I didn’t’ like it.” As she chased him he said: “You and Junior shouldn’t be like that, I don’t want to talk to you.”
Cindy refused to let it go not wanting him to reveal all so she followed him, causing him to flee up an emergency stairwell. As he tried to get away she begged him to stay quiet, resulting in him shoving her away from him.
But in trying to flee he fell backwards and toppled over the top of the stairs. Hitting the floor below, Kojo was lifeless as Cindy screamed out – but does he die?

While viewers will have to wait until Wednesday to see what happens next with Kojo, with his life on the line, new spoilers have confirmed his fate. The spoilers are for episodes airing next week, and they do give away whether he lives or dies amid speculation he would be killed off.
According to the new teasers, Kojo is alive and conscious in next week’s episodes, and Junior finds out that his uncle knows about his fling with Cindy next week. It seems he also finds out about what led to Kojo’s fall.
Junior is tasked with keeping his uncle quiet, but will Kojo tell everyone the truth? Junior is nervous as he visits his uncle in hospital to speak with him, after Cindy tells him to make sure he stays quiet.
The affair is continuing too it seems despite the incident with Kojo, amid a health scare for Cindy’s oblivious husband Ian Beale. Ian finds a jewellery box in Cindy’s pocket which has been gifted to her by Junior – so will he realise he’s been betrayed?
