Major Emmerdale star returns disguised as iconic music legend – and she has a big secret
Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) made an unexpected return to Emmerdale in Thursday’s (March 7) episode – and she was dressed as Cher.
We know.
To accomodate for Laura Norton’s maternity leave, Kerry has been away from the village working on a cruise ship as a Cher tribute act.
Tonight, as Matty (Ash Palmisciano) and Amy (Natalie Ann Jameson) spent their day off together chatting about their wedding, they got a huge shock when PC Swirling arrived with Kerry in the back of his police car.
It became apparent Kerry had been thrown off the ship after stealing jewellery. While being questioned by her daughter, Kerry remained adamant she was not responsible.
Being faced with her mum again also allowed Amy to unleash frustration and anger towards her.
Kerry left the Dales shortly after Al got shot by Kyle (Huey Quinn) which meant she wasn’t around for the aftermath of that, or Chloe’s (Jessie Elland) pregnancy, or her car crash, or…well you get the idea.
Kerry apologised but Amy was struggling to forgive her. She desperately needed her mum last year, but she was busy on a ship getting engaged to someone she doesn’t know.
That evening, after Kerry did her best to tell Amy that she’s changed, she sat on her own and proved that was far from the truth.
Whipping out two wads of cash, Kerry smirked and then, searching through a small bag, she pulled out some jewellery, proving she was responsible for the theft after all.
But what is Kerry’s plan now she’s back in the village?
