EastEnders’ Elaine has a wedding request for George that could wreck everything
Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) has long been dreaming of her happily ever after with fiancé George Knight (Colin Salmon) in EastEnders – especially after the return of his ex-wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
However, she puts their future together on the line this week when the Queen Vic landlady makes a surprise request of George.
Final preparations for their upcoming nuptials are all-go, as the pair both have their respective stag and hen dos.
In classic EastEnders fashion, both are not without their dramas, as Elaine is forced to confront an uncomfortable truth when Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) hires a drag queen for the party, while Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) get into a war of words over at George’s bash.
Later, Elaine is discussing the wedding with her grandson Jonny and asks him to help her draw up a pre-nuptial agreement to protect her assets.
The following day, solicitor Johnny begins getting the information together for Elaine’s prenup as the rest of the Square are nursing sore heads following the festivities.
Elaine is touched when George surprises her with a thoughtful present and tells her he can’t wait to marry her.
However, his good mood disappears when Elaine reveals her desire to put a prenup in place.
Will a hurt George agree to her terms, or is their marriage doomed before they’ve even made it down the aisle?
