EastEnders’ Timothy West’s final TV appearance airs after his death in eerie coincidence

EastEnders actor Timothy West has made a posthumous appearance on TV just hours after his death was announced.
The late star, 90, will be starring in today’s episode of Doctors where he will play Artie Simkins – the neighbour of a patient who falls in their garden and is forced to call 999.
The episode is the penultimate episode of the daytime BBC drama, ahead of the last-ever episode which will air tomorrow. Production wrapped in March after nearly 25 years on air.
