Phil ‘set to destroy’ Kat and Alfie in EastEnders as he issues major threat
He wasn't pleased to see their reunion!
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is not a happy bunny after discovering ex-wife Kat Slater’s (Jessie Wallace) reunion with her ex-husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) in EastEnders.
Phil and Kat broke up at the beginning of the year when his sister Sam (Kim Medcalf) exposed his affair with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit).
Kat was left broken by the revelation, deciding that she’d rather be homeless than have to live with him. Unfortunately, a few nights spent in the hectic Slater residence proved too much.
Evil Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) offered her free accommodation – which seemed too good to be true – and it was.
The two enjoyed a whirlwind romance, whilst he was secretly planning get his hands on Phil’s business assets during the divorce settlement.
Alfie then invited her, alongside their children, to live with him and ever since we’ve seen their friendship blossom into something more serious.
Sadly they faced a hurdle when eldest son Tommy (Sonny Kendall) began abusing Kat and his siblings, and at one point lied to Phil – telling him that his mum was interested in reconciling.
She charged over to Phil’s house and told him that that was definitely not on the cards, and couldn’t help but show his disappointment.
Last week, during a difficult social services meeting, Alfie held Kat’s hand tightly and it became evident that there was still a spark between them.
Upon returning home, the pair enjoyed a kiss and later, decided to get back together following some encouragement from Jean (Gillian Wright), Stacey (Lacey Turner), Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Freddie (Bobby Brazier).
After some initial frostiness whilst they got to terms with being together again, a fire in the kitchen broke the ice and they playfully chased one another around the flat with a fire extinguisher.
In tonight’s episode, the pair were enjoying a coffee together in the cafe when Freddie arrived to express his concerns about Bianca (Patsy Palmer), who has seemingly vanished.
As viewers of the BBC soap know, she’s actually being held hostage by killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
However, the mood soon dropped when Phil strolled in and saw them together. Word had obviously spread about their reunion, and he told Alfie to ‘enjoy [the relationship] while it lasts’.
Kat approached him, apologising for not coming to him sooner with the news.
He came clean to her about selling Peggy’s nightclub, wanting to have total transparency, and said that Tommy, Bert and Ernie were welcome at his house whenever they liked.
Is this a fresh start for them both, or is Phil going to try and bring #Kalfie to a halt?
