EastEnders death ‘sealed’ as familiar face returns with chilling warning for Linda Carter
EastEnders viewers are predicting The Queen Vic landlady will be killed off at Christmas after a character returned and delivered a crushing blow after she got away with Keanu Taylor's murder
EastEnders’ Bernie Taylor (played by Clair Norris) returned to Walford on Monday (November 11) seeking justice for her brother’s cold-blooded murder. But fans of the BBC soap are convinced Bernie’s return has sparked the downfall of Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
During the latest trip to the Square, which is available to stream on iPlayer, Linda was full of optimism after Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) took the blame for killing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day, meaning she is now a free woman.
But the landlady’s mood was soon ruined when Bernie showed up to remind her that she killed Keanu and wouldn’t get away with the crime. Linda and Bernie had a showdown in the pub cellar where the two clashed over Nish taking the blame.
Holding back tears, Linda said: “I want to move on with my life”, but Bernie wouldn’t let it go and issued Linda a harsh warning.
“Poor little Linda”, Bernie replied sarcastically, “tried to do the right thing but just couldn’t get them to lock her up – do me a favour!”.
She continued: “You’re a liar, you’re all liars you’re all out for yourselves. Maybe that is why you drink, to help you sleep at night.
“Anyway, I’m not here to listen to any more lies, I’m here to tell you all face to face I’m going to the police.”
Bernie added: “Because do you want to know the real truth, Linda, you’re going to die behind bars either way, cause even if you worm your way out of this again, you’ll just drink yourself to death.
“You’ll never move on, and that makes two of us”, before picking up a bottle of vodka and adding: “So go on, you might as well get on with it.”
Following Bernie’s harsh words, EastEnders fans are now predicting Linda will be killed off. Taking to X, one fan wrote: “OMG!!! The end of Linda is confirmed #EastEnders.”
A second predicted: “KOJO Knight Murder’s LINDA CARTER in Harrowing scenes at Christmas??? #EastEnders.”
A third chimed in: “Linda’s drinking again could also lead to that “funeral” or at least a hallucination for Linda of what could potentially happen if she continued drinking. #Eastenders.”
“The fact it’s now confirmed someone dies on Christmas and we’ve seen Linda’s funeral pics oh it’s really not looking good for her. The end is near #EastEnders”, added another.
