Emmerdale fans beg producers to ‘make it end’ as they grow sick of Rhona’s baby story
Fans of ITV's Emmerdale have grown increasingly tired of Rhona Dingle's storyline involving her ex Gus and their new born baby Ivy, as they beg producers to wrap it up
Emmerdale viewers seem to have reached the end of their tether with Rhona, Gus and their baby Ivy, as they beg producers to bring the story to a close.
On Monday night’s episode (March 4), Rhona was considering giving Gus another chance at rebuilding their friendship and not allowing the authorities to get in the way following Rhona’s baby kidnap stunt. Although her husband Marlon told Rhona not to trust her ex, Gus, Rhona finally found out that Gus was stringing her along.
When Rhona discovered that Gus was still planning to leave the country with Ivy in tow, Rhona was livid. But fans at home were clearly growing tired of Gus and Rhona’s baby feud and headed over to X to complain.
One social media user said: “This Rhona and Gus storyline is terrible, so it’s bound to run for over a year.” Another said: “Please make this Ivy storyline end.”
A third said: “Who else is pig sick of the Rhona/Gus/IVF story.” A fourth viewer branded the storyline “boring” with a GIF, while another added: “How much more of this crap Rhona/Gus/Ivy storyline do we have to suffer?”
After realising that Gus was up to no good, Rhona was upset and disappointed. Confronting him on the matter when an estate agent confirmed that Gus’ home was up for sale, Gus still tried to deny that nothing sinister was going on.
But when she returned home to the village, an upset Rhona told her husband Marlon that she would still try to bring down Gus in court. She also said she may decide to plead not guilty in court after she kidnapped Ivy.
Despite Rhona’s defiant stance, fans at home thought it wouldn’t be a good idea as both Gus and Rhona could be in for trouble. One viewer said on X: “Um, hate to say it but has Rhona actually stopped to think what happens to Ivy if they both end up going down?
“Although she’s not wrong in pushing forward with the charges against Gus, if he hadn’t done what he did none of this would of happened.”
Another said: “Rhona is so damn foolish. I get she loves Ivy but I don’t get her pleading not guilty.”
