Ex-Emmerdale star announces career shake-up just weeks after leaving ITV soap
Jurell Carter first made waves when he joined the cast of the ITV soap back in 2019, but after five years in the soap, he bid the village farewell in favour of something different
A former star of Emmerdale has announced his first major role after leaving the soap.
Jurell Carter recently left the ITV soap earlier this year in order to pursue different projects in his career. Despite filming his final scenes months previously, Jurell’s final stint in the village aired to the public in September as fans were devastated to see him go.
Since then, the star has already landed himself a new career, though it comes in a different format. This is due to the fact that he will not be seen on television, but rather be heard.
The actor revealed in a post he shared to his Instagram followers that he is to become the voice of American cosmetics retailer Sephora. His voiceover work will be used in the business’ Christmas adverts, which are already being aired in the UK and the US.
