EastEnders confirms Bianca’s fate in murder story – and it’s chilling
This article contains spoilers for tonight’s episode of EastEnders, that airs tonight on BBC One but can be watched now on BBC iPlayer.
Twisted murderer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) is holding the legendary Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) captive in a lock-up.
The Walford stalwart knew, deep down, that he killed his comatose wife Debbie and that her sister Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) was innocent, but with multiple people believing he’s innocent, she faced a frustrating waiting game.
When Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) found some incriminating CCTV footage, Bianca played on Reiss’ guilt and forced a confession out of him.
Utterly horrified, she ran through to the kitchen and attempted to call the police. He thought quickly, and smashed the video evidence with his tuba case.
Later, Reiss revealed that he still had the pillow he’d used to smother his poor defenceless wife in a storage unit. He told Bianca that if she gave it to the police, Sonia would be released from prison fairly quickly, given his fingerprints would be all over the item.

He would then go on the run.
Stupidly, Bianca followed him into the unit and he subsequently picked up a heavy object and covered her head with a blanket.
Was Bianca dead?
In today’s episode he arrived home in the early hours of the morning, pushing a heavy blue suitcase through the hallway.
Suddenly, Martin Fowler (James Bye) arrived at the door and Reiss washed blood off his hands. Martin was convinced that he was going to leave Albert Square, and noticed a bloody wound on his head.
The door was slammed, but he couldn’t get away that easily – Martin had contacted Callum Highway (Tony Clay), who arrived to do some investigating.
Reiss was asked how the injury was sustained, and he implied that Bianca had attacked him and then done a runner. He was then planning to make a quick exit in case she returned.
As the police began to search for her, they discovered her taco van abandoned at a train station. Meanwhile, Reiss put the suitcase in his boot.
Trying to make a getaway, local loudmouth Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) stopped him, having heard through the grapevine that Bianca had fled. She decided to do her own digging, and rang her mobile.
Suddenly, Bianca’s phone rang from inside of the car boot. Kim being Kim, she didn’t clock a thing!
Reiss drove up to the lock-up and as he entered, a very much alive Bianca emerged… throwing objects at him. When she calmed down, it became clear that she was actually chained to the wall.
His plan is apparently to keep her there until Sonia is released, though that’s looking incredibly unlikely!
Bianca questioned what would happen if his plot to save her fell through, and he said she could be released in that instance as long as she promised not to tell on him.
Inside the suitcase was a kettle and a fridge and some meal deal salads.
It seems Reiss is going to keep her here for a while, as he’s also ordered a commode.
Bianca said she needed to use the toilet now, and he presented her with a bucket. As he turned his back, she proceeded to throw the metal object at him – though it just made him more angry.
Reiss told her that as long as she behaves, he’ll look after her.
Will Bianca ever see the light of day again?
