Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is arrested in EastEnders next week – just as a familiar face arrives in Walford.

The Mitchell youngster is currently at loggerheads with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who he is blackmailing with footage of them both fighting, in exchange for insider police information.

Little does Jack know, Harry has also been working with his daughter Penny (Kitty Castledine) to get revenge, after she was left feeling betrayed during the Peggy’s club crush investigation.

She was stunned to learn from her dad that the new Mitchells arrived in Albert Square from Dartford to escape some unsettling rumours.

Harry had an explosive argument with his girlfriend Shireen, which was witnessed by a number of people who believed he was responsible for her subsequent disappearance.

In upcoming scenes, he warns Penny to get her dad to lay off him or he will expose her part in their plot.

However, his threat only eggs her on to find out more about Shireen’s vanishing, and she decides to meet up with the girl’s best friend Felicity in The Queen Vic for more answers.

Felicity’s account of the events is chilling, and later the police arrive to arrest Harry.

Is he actually a murderer?

Soon, Harry’s mum Nicola (Lauren Doddington) makes a grand entrance to the Square, demanding answers from Penny and wanting to know about her involvement in her dear son’s arrest.

As the week goes on, Penny realises that Harry is similarly gunning for her. Has his mum dripped poison into his ear? Did she shop him, or was it Jack?

Nicola’s arrival has huge consequences for a number of the residents – namely her ex-husband Teddy (Roland Manookian), who is spooked to see her back in his life.

With her making waves throughout the area, Teddy decides to use a big secret about her in an attempt to weaponise her.

She continues to get her feet under the table, introducing herself to relatives Honey (Emma Barton), Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Phil (Steve McFadden) – and manipulates Teddy into inviting her to lunch with them.

‘Nicola is a woman who knows her mind and isn’t intimidated by anyone or anything’ actress Laura Doddington teased.

‘What I love about her is that she is an intelligent woman and quite witty. So, you can expect a woman who is not afraid to make her mark.’
