EastEnders Reiss Colwell ‘to kill again’ as BBC soap legend unearths murder secret
EastEnders' latest episode appeared to confirm the game was up for Reiss Colwell as his killer secret may have been rumbled, but the character involved may face grave danger
EastEnders viewers were in for some tense scenes on Tuesday night, as Reiss Colwell’s killer secret was finally revealed.
Bianca Jackson watched evidence that seemingly exposed he killed his wife Debbie at her care home, and that it wasn’t his pregnant fiancée Sonia Fowler. Sonia is currently in prison after being arrested for the crime, but fans know Reiss was to blame and has yet to reveal the truth.
But Teddy Mitchell finally got his hands on the CCTV that could free Sonia this week. He gave it to Reiss, telling him to see whether there was anything on it that could help him.
Of course Reiss knew exactly what he was going to find and soon enough, there was evidence that placed him at the care home when Debbie died. The footage showed him fleeing the scene after Sonia had been there, no doubt revealing the truth.
Reiss could not have anyone finding out the truth and destroyed it, unaware Teddy had made a second copy. Bianca was more convinced than ever that her brother-in-law was the killer, and he’d destroyed the evidence but no one believed her.
Teddy seemed to question whether she was right though after Reiss did a runner before deleting what was on the disk. Supporting Bianca he revealed there was a copy of the footage and he gave it to her.

Bianca raced home and began watching it, but Teddy soon told Reiss the truth. As Reiss explained why he got rid of it, he faked a story about seeing Sonia fleeing the scene with gloves on.
He set his own partner up as the killer, pretending he got rid of the evidence to protect her. Teddy changed his mind re Bianca in that moment, and warned Reiss that she was at the house watching the copy of the footage.
Reiss sped home and made his way to the kitchen where he could hear Bianca watching the CCTV. As he slowly opened the door rather sinisterly, she said aloud: “Gotcha.” It wasn’t clear if she was saying it to the screen or him, but either way it confirmed she knew the truth.
The CCTV seemingly backed her fears that Sonia was in prison for something Reiss had done, and that he was the killer. But with Bianca now knowing what really happened, is she about to pay the price of crossing Reiss?
Reiss will do whatever it takes to keep up his fake story and get rid of that evidence, but Bianca isn’t likely to let that happen. So is Reiss about to strike again, and will he kill Bianca?
