Emmerdale ‘reveals’ who damaged Tom King’s car after major return news as downfall looms

Emmerdale's latest episode saw the Kings panic over Tom King's car being vandalised by a mystery culprit following him being questioned by police, and it was teased who was to blame

Emmerdale’s latest episode hinted someone was out to get Tom King after he was hauled in for police questioning.

The walls are closing in on abusive Tom, as the police are desperate to expose his crimes and have him face justice. Fans know that Tom was accused of domestic abuse by his ex Belle Dingle recently, after months of coercive control and violence.

Belle’s mental health has spiralled and after admitting herself to a secure unit, she shared her fears she would go to prison if she could not prove Tom’s lies. She attacked him and almost killed him recently, but she handed herself into the police while reporting Tom for what he’d done.

As she and the police found evidence Tom had installed cameras in her home without telling her, there is now a battle to find Tom’s missing iPad. Belle and detectives believe this is the missing evidence to some of Tom’s behaviour, but Tom has broken it and gotten rid of it.

Amid the police desperately trying to find it after finding out about what happened with Carl Holliday, and what he’d seen on the iPad, Tom is now trying to cover his tracks. On Thursday we saw the character questioned before being released.

As the Dingles fumed over this, DS Foy made it clear it wasn’t over. Nicola also seemed shocked while her husband Jimmy King, Tom’s uncle, was thrilled as he remained torn.

With Nicola and Jimmy at loggerheads amid a return twist, there was further upset when Tom was targeted. With Nicola finding out her daughter Angelica would soon return to the village and be released from the secure children’s’ home, it won’t be long until the troubled teen makes her comeback.

But amid the return, Tom told Nicola and Jimmy someone had vandalised his car, with it shown damaged in the village. Nicola seemed panicked over this, telling Jimmy and Tom it was the last thing they needed with Angel returning.

While Nicola seemed to indicate someone capable of much worse was to blame for the car being smashed up, something about her face hinted she knew more than she was letting on. She vowed they “couldn’t have this” as they needed to put Angel first, almost suggesting Tom shouldn’t live with them anymore.

Tom seemed suspicious, staring right at Nicola as he questioned who was behind it before she gave a weird look. She then gave another weird look when Jimmy suggested they call the police – so did Nicola trash his car to get rid of him?
