EastEnders airs shock exit as star quits soap after two years with major twist in murder storyline
The Six have been dealt a big shock in their cards as someone finally confessed and was taken seriously
EASTENDERS has aired a shock exit in today’s episode – as star quits the soap after two years.
The BBC soap’s latest episode – which is available to watch on iPlayer now – sees the exit of a major character in a huge twist in a murder storyline.
Viewers watching have seen Nish Panesar make a shocking about turn after blackmailing ex-wife Suki into getting back with him in return for his silence over The Six’s murder of Keanu Taylor.
In today’s episode Nish brutally attacked Suki as she tried to resist him – and he tried to rip her clothes off in an attempted sexual assault.
But after realising something was wrong, Stacey rallied the Panesars to try to protect Suki – but only Avani and Nugget listened.
Rushing back they arrived just in time to stop Nish from going any further with Stacey furiously defending a shaken Suki.
And when Nish realised his own grandchildren had seen what he was planning to do – he was shaken to the core.
Avani demanded to know what he would do if a man treated her like that – and she begged him to leave Suki alone and let her go.
In a shocking twist – it worked.
Nish summoned The Six to the Queen Vic after making a phone call.
He forced them to tell him exactly how they had killed Keanu and disposed of his body – with them thinking he was torturing them while waiting for the police to arrest them.
But in a shocking twist he decided to confess, using the knowledge gained from the women to make it plausible and inventing a couple of hired killers to do the heavy lifting.
He even confessed to forcing Linda to frame Dean Wicks and then later her own confession to make sure the women went free.
Nish told the police detective: “I’m dying and I’d rather pay for my sins in this life than another.
“And I love my family. I’ve done some bad things in my life and I just want them to see that I was brave enough to take responsibility for it all in the end.”
Suki text The Six to tell them: “It’s over.”
As Nish was led away, he told Suki: “Will you visit me? My wife, in my mind you still are.
“Don’t take that away from me please. Don’t marry anyone else. Just leave me that at least. Don’t marry Eve. Promise me, please?”
Suki appeared to nod, agreeing to Nish’s plea.
Nish was then led out into the Square in handcuffs under the watch of his confused family, and The Six at the Vic.
As fireworks went off all around them, Nish turned to Suki and told her: “I told you we’d watch the fireworks together.”
He was then taken into the car and led away but is this the last viewers will see of Nish?
