EastEnders viewers rumble the Six’s next victim ahead of ‘double death’
One major secret was uncovered on this Monday's EastEnders as Nish learned the truth about Keanu Taylor's death. But with his own exit looming, his fate is likely to be sealed.
Another Walford man could face the same fate as Keanu Taylor with viewers convinced they’ve rumbled how Nish Panesar’s exit will likely play out.
Introduced as the dodgy businessman in 2022, EastEnders star Navin Chowdhry was tipped to be on his way out of the BBC One soap as his on-screen alter ego was diagnosed with viral myocarditis, causing his heart to fail fasted than expected.
While many viewers of the long-running drama have been excited at the possibility to see the villain finally breathe his last, Nish’s condition has only encouraged his manipulative antics as he becomes increasingly aware he has nothing to lose, particularly as his wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) regained control over her life and ended their marriage.
During this Monday’s (October 28) trip to Albert Square, Nish pulled another trick but decided to use his talents to coerce Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to spill the beans about Keanu Taylor’s death – and she obliged, sending the rest of the Six into a frenzy.

Prior to this, Nish found out from the police that Suki and her pals in Walford were likely suspects in the investigation on Keanu’s murder, despite Dean Wicks being sent down for the crime. Later on, viewers were shocked as they discovered that Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) fingerprints had been found on the scene of the crime, much like Suki’s own prints.
With things likely to go from bad to worse for the Six as Nish could use their secret to his own gain, many viewers of the long-running show took to social media such as Twitter, now X, to share their thoughts – and they believe Nish’s time in Walford is drawing to a close.
“The 6 will reconvene to kill Nish in the Six Part II- Xmas day 2024 #Eastenders”, one wrote, while another added: “The six are going to try and kill nish aren’t they #eastenders.”
A third soap fan echoed: “Nish is so not making it past #Halloween on Thursday-I’ve got a suspiction he keels over and dies right in front of the Six leaving them with another body to deal with! #Eastenders.”
A fourth viewer chimed in: “The only way I can see the six getting away with this now is if they kill Nish off in the pub on Halloween….it would be iconic #EastEnders.” But while fans count the days until Nish vanishes from their screens, others are fearing Linda Carter could follow suit as filming for the soap’s festive episodes is underway.
However, this could be a clever misdirection from the EastEnders production team, designed to keep viewers guessing. Last Christmas, Keanu Taylor was the unfortunate victim in ‘The Six’ storyline, with Linda stabbing him in the back with a carving fork.
In a bid to distract from the impending death, BBC bosses had Danny Walters, who played Keanu, photographed at an airport and on set for another funeral scene – not his own.
