ITV Emmerdale: ‘work out’ who Zak Dingle’s secret son is after telling clue
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Zak Dingle has a secret love child after his son Sam dropped a telling clue following the patriarch's funeral
Emmerdale fans are speculating Zak Dingle may have another secret son named Seth, after a ‘clue’ was seemingly dropped by Sam Dingle in the wake of the family patriarch’s funeral.
The ITV soap recently said an emotional goodbye to the beloved character Zak (portrayed by Steve Halliwell), whose final wish before passing was to be buried in the Dales, having moved to Scotland. The Dingles came together for a heartfelt send-off as they bid farewell to Zak.
The day was filled with emotion as Tina Dingle (played by Samantha Power) made a surprise return to pay her respects to her father after nearly three decades of absence.
However, the new head of the family, Cain (Jeff Hordley), found the day overwhelming and chose to spend the evening reminiscing with his sister Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and brother Sam (James Hooton), rather than partying at The Woolpack.
As the siblings shared their favourite memories and touched on some of Zak’s more challenging times, Cain turned to Sam and remarked: “You were his favourite you know. Son I mean.”, reports Leeds Live.
Does Zak Dingle have a secret child?
Sam quickly retorted: “I always thought it were Seth. Or our Butch”, sparking confusion among viewers about the identity of this mysterious Seth.
A perplexed fan took to Reddit, questioning: “Seth Dingle? Who the heck is Seth? He isn’t mentioned on the wiki. I know Seth Armstrong, but he wouldn’t be described as Zak’s favourite son!” (sic).
One shocked viewer added their thoughts on social media, writing: “Also what I thought as soon I as I heard Sam say Seth I was like who tf is that lol imagine it turns out to be another of Zak’s never-ending long lost kids.”
Another fan commented: “I rewound this bit twice to work it out. I still don’t get it.”
