Emmerdale’s Chloe Harris star Jessie Elland announces ‘dream come true’ new career move after ITV soap exit
Jessie's former co-star rushed to the comments section to congratulate her on the new career move
EMMERDALE’S Chloe Harris star Jessie Elland has announced a ‘dream come true’ new career move after her exit from the ITV soap.
The character found herself in a love triangle with Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle, as well as her mystery father Damon who turned out to be villain Harry, who was later shot dead by Charity in defence.
But after a bunch of dramatic and intense storylines, the actress left the Yorkshire Dales back in December.
Now Jessie has revealed her surprising new career move with her latest project announcement.
Sharing on Instagram, the star announced her new book, “The Ladie Upstairs,” and its upcoming publication.
Jessie shared a screenshot of a press release revealing the exciting news.
The star branded the haunted house book as a “captivating dark debut”.
Jessie captioned the post: “I wrote a book and it’s going to be published!!!
“Ironically I can’t find the words to better articulate this news. My very first novel will be published by @baskervillejmp, in the UK & Commonwealth. This would absolutely not be possible without my amazing agent @ktgreenstreet and the entire team at @paperliterary.
“Life just continues to get more surreal; to have something you’ve dreamed about since you were six years old (swipe!) come to fruition is something beyond words. This one is a particularly special fig.”
Jessie’s former co-star rushed to the comments section to congratulate her on the new career move.
Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia Spencer, wrote: “We are so proud of you jessie” with crying emojis.
Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle, added: “So proud of you” with star emojis.
Lawrence Robb, who plays Mack, also commented: “You’re incredible! Utterly incredible!!”
Fans also sent their support in the comments section.
One wrote: “Smashing it Jessie! Well done.”
