Emmerdale ‘confirms’ major exit story as the guilt gets too much in 24 pictures
Emmerdale lines up quite a week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with the return of a nemesis and a deadly situation making it one to watch.
Ross Barton (Michael Parr) faces increasing pressure from Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), who stages her comeback in upcoming scenes after a few weeks of radio silence.
Jade still reckons that he stole the money from the fight at Butlers, though we viewers know that it was actually Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) who came into possession of the cash.
Worried about what Jade is capable of, Ross tries to talk Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) into taking Moses away for a bit – just until the coast is clear.
April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), however, is targeted and kidnapped by Jade, who subsequently notifies Ross of what she’s done.
Utterly horrified, Ross swoops into action to rescue the teen – and he soon finds himself at the location where Donna (Verity Rushworth) died a decade ago.
April is held near the edge by one of Jade’s cronies, with Jade demanding the funds that Ross simply doesn’t have. How will he get out of this one? And will April be okay?
Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), meanwhile, is rattled when the uplift in cryptocurrency isn’t showing on his account. Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) finds her perfect wedding dress but is upset when there appears to be no money in her bank account.
Eric claims a technological glitch is to blame and soon he tries to place a bet, with Liam thwarting him. Eric is forced to admit defeat and he faces Brenda’s wrath, as she fears his proposal might have been influenced by his medication.
Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly), meanwhile, is shaken when she realises that Anthony (Nicholas Day) is telling the truth about his cancer diagnosis and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is riddled with guilt over his betrayal of Moira (Natalie J Robb).
It’s going to be a jam-packed week in the village, that’s for sure!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, December 2 and Friday, December 6 at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
