Emmerdale confirms major twist as TV legend set to be brought down after decades
Emmerdale’s Kim Tate (Claire King) is unknowingly on the verge of ruination as husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) conspires to take her down once and for all.
Will, as viewers know, had been plotting for months to destroy Kim, who tormented him with manipulation and mind games after she found out that he cheated on her with his ex.
Kim attempted to turn the tables last week, tasking Ross Barton (Michael Parr) with ridding the village of her hubby once and for all before he had the chance to get his hands on her cash in the divorce.
Ross led Kim to believe that Will was dead, which left the Home Farm businesswoman devastated as she came to realise that she was still holding a candle for him.
When Will revealed that he was, in fact, still alive, Kim decided to swallow her pride and put a stop to the divorce proceedings, hoping she and Will could give their marriage another go.
Will was taken aback and, wanting nothing more than to recapture what they had, he and Kim spent the night together, optimistic about their fresh start.
Ross was amused to hear of the pair’s reconciliation and made light of the situation, telling Will that he’s letting Kim walk all over him.
Will was left with food for thought and, when Kim asked him to call his solicitor and destroy the dossier he’d been keeping on her, he started to wonder if that’s all Kim was interested in.
After some time to think, Will told Peter – who he’d been in cahoots with previously – that the plan to take Kim down will carry on as normal.
Peter, meanwhile, made a phone call of his own, telling the person on the other end of the call that their ‘little puppet’ was back in play, with ‘operation destroy Kim Tate’ officially a go.
Oh dear.
Will calculated Kim work out what Will is up to before it’s too late? And what’s more, just who is Peter working for?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
