There’s an early Christmas present for ‘Sukeve’ fans in EastEnders next week, as Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) finally get things back on track.
Eve sensationally called off their engagement earlier this month after learning the truth about Suki’s involvement in Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) last Christmas.
Eve is currently spending time off-screen in Brighton, but next week she returns to Walford and catches up with best mate Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
After they make amends over Stacey’s involvement with The Six, Stacey encourages Eve to talk to Suki.
At No. 41, Suki and Eve then share a tense exchange before Eve storms out leaving Suki heartbroken all over again.
But its after another talking to from Stacey that Eve sees things differently, and she’s encouraged to make a bold gesture at the Christmas lights switch-on.
The following day, Suki and Eve are the picture of happiness as they agree that plans for their New Year’s Day wedding are back on track.
The reunited couple hope that the road to happiness will be smooth from here on out.
But this is EastEnders, right? Surely things won’t be that straightforward?
