Tom’s sick act against Amelia in Emmerdale proves to be his final downfall
Tom King (James Chase) can try no more in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale as DS Foy finally arrives to take him to the station over the accusations Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has made against him.
The abuser has gone out of his way to paint himself as the victim of the narrative and even managed to manipulate Amelia (Daisy Campbell) into believing that he’s innocent.
Pretty much everyone else, however, knows full well that Belle is telling the truth, even Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), who moved out of her own home in a bid to protect her kids from him.
Jimmy (Nick Miles) also refuses to acknowledge that his nephew might not be the sweet, innocent boy he’s claiming to be, which has caused a rift in his marriage to Nicola.
Coming up, while in the church, Tom pretends to be interested in religion and prayer to impress Amelia, who quickly softens and agrees to put Nicola right about her boyfriend.
When they get to the café though, Nicola remains less than convinced by their show of unity.
The next day, troubled by the lack of progress within the police case, Belle heads upstairs and runs a bath to de-stress, but fails to hear Tom slip into the house through the back door.
Tom steals one of Belle tops and leaves. Later, to Belle’s horror, she finds Amelia in the village wearing the item.
Belle confronts Amelia, who is stunned by the accusation.
Back at home, Amelia is completely thrown when a furious Tom rails at her for the accusations. Just as he forcefully marches her out of the house he’s spotted by Jimmy and DS Foy, who has arrived to take him to the station for questioning.
He tries to outwit those around him but before long, Tom King is finally on the receiving end of justice.
