TYLER PERRY’S SISTAS SEASON 8 EPISODE 6 RECAP

Tyler Perry's Sistas Season 8 Episode 6

Penelope and Jordan confront Andi, and Sabrina and Danni are having relationship problems. Here’s our Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 8 Episode 6 recap.

Andi’s cheek is sore

Jordan has to keep Andi and Penelope, who voluntarily left protective custody, apart as she accuses Andi of trying to break up her and Gary so Andi could have him for himself. We learn that Jordan was forced to drop out of his race for councilman because of his relationship with Andi making matters worse. Jordan is upset that Andi didn’t call him since Gary’s stabbing, but she let him know that her lawyer and ex-boyfriend, Robin, advised her not to. Sounds suspect. Penelope accuses Andi of manipulating her and masterminding the whole thing from the beginning. Jordan wants to know if she’s been playing him the whole time. In turn, Penelope threatens to pay her back and that things are already in motion. Soon Penelope and Andi are ready to square up again. Andi asks Jordan to talk privately, so Penelope goes downstairs to wait for him. Unfortunately, he can’t stand the sight of her.

Why Andi refuses to tell Jordan the full reason why she almost married Gary is a mystery, but it’s making her look unintelligent despite being a successful attorney. Get yourself together, Andu.

Sabrina and Danni’s relationship troubles

Rich is upset that Sabrina seemingly told him she couldn’t go to lunch with him because she wanted to go out with Danni. They smooth things over temporarily by inviting them to sit down and eat. I’m not calling them simps, but they are more than willing to accept. But immediately they start to argue, disrupting the whole restaurant. When the shouting finally dies down, Tony explains why he enrolled her in the leadership program, but Danni doesn’t appreciate Sabrina agreeing with him. Meanwhile, Rich sees where Danni is coming from, but he’s also upset that Sabrina’s relationship with her girls is more important than her relationship with him. Danni is done and decides to dip. Sabrina and Rich tell Tony to go after her, especially since she’s been drinking.

Karen still in hot water

The commotion continues at the salon as Roots To Riches clients are still demanding justice for their edges. Miss Marie wants to know what’s going on and has questions about how they run their business. The ring leader threatens to sue them once she finds out Miss Marie is the money behind the operation. Trey isn’t sticking around to find out what happens next. When Karen looks closer, she spots some stubble and realizes that the “scamming, conniving, ghetto bitch”, in the words of Miss Marie, shaved her edges. Miss Marie isn’t having it and puts her in her place.

When the posse leaves, Pam thinks they’re in the clear, but Miss Marie is upset that she didn’t do her due diligence. She doesn’t want her money back, but she doesn’t like Karen’s defeatist attitude, wants a business plan by the end of the week, and time for her team to go over the Roots To Riches ingredients.

Same old Hayden

Meanwhile, Hayden is being a jerk and abusing his powers as Fatima’s somewhat new boss. He wants her to go through Andi’s folders from the past quarter to find discrepancies. He accuses her of having spent so much time in her books that she made mistakes. Fatima calls Zac to vent about Hayden again, but he’s the voice of reason and calms her down.

After her call with Zac, Fatima sits down with Robin to complain about Hayden’s behavior. She fills him in on everything Hayden has been up to since he went back to London.

At home, Zac is getting Michael a snack. He’s shocked when Michael says “nuggets”, his first words. Zac can’t wait to tell Mama Tima. Robin promises to deal with Hayden, but he reminds her that he’s still her acting supervisor. She agrees to play nice. Before she leaves, Fatima asks if he has any leads that could take the heat off of Andi when it comes to Gary’s stabbing. He has good news, but it turns out, she’s the suspect.
