Huge shock for EastEnders’ Linda as Elaine loses it over face from her past
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is set for a huge shock in EastEnders this week, after her mum Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) was confronted with a face from her past.
On Monday’s episode of the BBC soap, Elaine was in her element as she took centre stage at her hen do ahead of her upcoming nuptials to George Knight (Colin Salmon).
Her grandson Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) was charged with organising a surprise for the big event, which he later revealed was a drag queen by the name of Drew Peacock.
However, as Johnny introduced Drew to the stage in a packed Queen Vic, it soon became clear there was history between Drew and Elaine, who quickly recognised each other.
Things then took an unexpected turn as Elaine flipped and shouted at Drew to get out of the pub, leaving her friends and family confused by her reaction.
In scenes to air on Tuesday, Elaine is still shaken by coming face-to-face with Drew.
A concerned Johnny and Linda try to quiz her, but she refuses to open up.
Linda heads off to speak with Drew, who is similarly closed and tells the Vic landlady to ask her mum.
Back at the pub, Linda demands answers from Elaine, who then finally reveals the truth to her stunned daughter.
What bombshell has Elaine been hiding? And what effect will it have on an already fragile Linda?
