Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) finds himself at war with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in EastEnders next week, not realising his partner Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) has been having a passionate affair with him.
Junior is currently licking his wounds after Cindy called off their secret romance, admitting to former flame David Wicks (Michael French) that she was still in love with her ex-husband and Junior’s dad George Knight (Colin Salmon)
However, he looks set to stir up trouble for her engagement to Ian in scenes to air next week.
The Knight family are deep in preparations for George and Elaine Peacock’s (Harriet Thorpe) upcoming nuptials, with the stag and hen dos taking place.
While Elaine has drama of her own to deal with at her hen, things get equally tense over at George’s bash.
The night takes a turn when a jealous Junior gets into a war of words with a drunk Ian over Cindy.
While Ian remains none the wiser as to why Junior has opinions on his fiancée, word of their showdown soon gets back to her, and she’s furious.
Cindy meets with Junior and warns him to stop playing games, scolding him for the scene he made at the stag do.
Unaware of his son’s true motivations, George also tries to get involved, insisting he didn’t need to have a row with Ian on his behalf.
But with Junior’s heart still broken, will he give up on Cindy so easily?
