Some EastEnders favourites are about to be hit with some mammoth shocks next week – with the return of Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) throwing everything into chaos for Martin Fowler (James Bye).

He has only just discovered from Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that Ruby has given birth to his baby but when she rocks up, it becomes clear that the big bombshells are only just beginning…

Meanwhile, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) continues to struggle but there’s another massive surprise in store when she discovers that she’s pregnant.

But is this something she is ready for given everything going on?

Speaking of surprises, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) makes a discovery about Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) after being confused by her reaction to a Drag Queen at her hen do…

Monday November 18

Sharon prepares to tell Martin that Ruby gave birth to his baby but can’t find the right time.

Instead, Martin is focused on quizzing Mr Lister about the closure of Bridge Street market. Later, in The Vic, Sharon tells Martin that Chrissie revealed Ruby was inside with her but left to give birth and he has a son.

Stunned, Martin confides in Stacey, who questions whether it’s true. However, Sharon produces a birth certificate, leaving Martin floored.

As Martin tries to get Ruby’s address from Sharon, there’s a knock at the door and Ruby storms in and accuses Martin of stealing from her…

Elaine and her hens are getting ready for their big night at The Vic as George prepares to meet the stags at The Boxing Den. Johnny tells Elaine that he’s got a big surprise planned for her.

Anna asks Elaine to invite Cindy to the hen do and wedding, which she reluctantly agrees to. At George’s stag do, Junior and a drunk Ian get into a war of words over Cindy.

Meanwhile, at The Vic, Johnny proudly announces the arrival of the night’s entertainment – a drag queen – leaving Elaine stunned.

Lauren is struggling with pain and lashes out at Peter over childcare issues and then snaps at Louie. Tearful Lauren admits she’s not coping and has booked a GP appointment.

Tuesday November 19

Ruby accuses Martin of breaking into her home, but Sharon corrects her. Martin demands to know if they have a child together, and Ruby finally admits they have a son. However, after a war of words with Stacey, she drops another bombshell.

Linda and Johnny quiz shaken Elaine on her reaction to the Drag Queen but she refuses to talk.

At the laundrette, Linda seeks answers, but is told to ask her mum. Back at The Vic, Linda presses Elaine to explain, and she tells Linda the truth.

The GP tells Lauren she needs to reduce her pain medication, and that she can’t have another prescription.

Later, Anna and Lauren talk about her symptoms, and Anna wonders if Lauren might be pregnant. In The Vic toilets, Lauren does a test, and it’s positive.

Meanwhile, George tells Junior that he didn’t need to have a row with Ian on his behalf, unaware of his true motivations.

Wednesday November 20

Martin confronts Ruby and demands answers.

At The Vic, Elaine and Johnny discuss her upcoming marriage to George, and she asks him to help her draw up a pre-nuptial agreement.

Jean gets a phone call from an investment company and talks to the advisor about making more of her money. She’s intrigued by what they offer.

Thursday November 21

Johnny begins getting the information together for Elaine’s prenup. Meanwhile, Alfie sets up a pop-up Minute Mart on the market to sell energy drinks to the hungover stags and hens.

George surprises Elaine with a thoughtful present and tells her he can’t wait to marry her but his good mood disappears when he discovers Elaine wants a prenup.

Stacey promises to support Martin in his battle against Ruby.

Mr Lister announces that he’ll stay on and help the traders fight against the plans to close Bridge Street market. Lister is thrilled when delighted Honey hugs him.

Elsewhere, Cindy warns Junior to stop playing games and scolds him for having a row with Ian at George’s stag do. Jean makes a decision about her investment.
